Virtual Training of Facilitators in:
Understanding and Responding to the Sexual Behaviors of Children
June 10th, 11th, 12th
Daily from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time
This 6-hour training provided via Zoom will equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to facilitate Understanding and Responding to the Sexual Behaviors of Children ©.
Adults can do much to encourage healthy sexual development in children. This training aids adults to develop the skills to keep children safe from youth with problematic behaviors and to advance healthy development in all youth.
Participants will learn how to:
Train adults to be able to distinguish between expected, problematic, and abusive behaviors of Children.
Prepare adults to to encourage health and prevent perpetration behaviors in children.
Train adults to be ready to intervene with children to prevent reinforcement of repeated harmful behaviors.

Brain Development and Learning Consent during Childhood
June 24th, 25th, 26th
Daily from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time
This 6-hour training provided via Zoom will equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to facilitate Brain Development and Learning Consent During Childhood.
Adults want children to grow up with healthy relationship skills. Learning to respect others’ feelings about touch is called empathy-based consent. Brain science findings show that the optimal window for children to learn empathy skills occurs early in life.
Participants will learn how to:
Teach adults to understand the skills involved in respecting consent.
Teach adults to know the developmental connections between childhood empathy and adult actions.
Teach adults to understand brain science findings on empathy and the optimal developmental window to acquire it.
Teach adults how to implement primary prevention strategies beginning in early childhood to prevent child sexual abuse and perpetration.

Nurturing, Valuing, and Protecting LGBTQIA+ Youth©
July 8th, 9th, 10th
Daily from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time
This 6-hour training provided via Zoom interactive real time platform will equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to facilitate Nurturing, Valuing, and Protecting LGBTQIA+ Youth.
Adults want all children and youth to thrive. While learning about the acronym “LGBTQIA+” participants discuss the importance of nurturing the discovery and exploration of gender identity. LGBT youth are at a greater risk of sexual abuse than their peers. Attendees will learn practical strategies to decrease this risk.
Participants will learn how to:
Teach adults to know ways to nurture the formation of gender identity.
Teach adults to understand why LGBTQIA+ youth may be at an increased risk of experiencing child sexual abuse.
Teach adults the skills to implement primary prevention with LGBTQIA+ youth in mind.

This 6-hour training provided via Zoom will equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to facilitate Nurturing Healthy Sexual Development.
Participants will learn how to:
Train adults to distinguish between expected and unexpected sexual behaviors in children.
Train adults to understand ways to nurture healthy sexual development in children.
Train adults to understand healthy sexual development in children at different developmental stages.
Description
Children are safer if their healthy sexual development is nurtured. In this training, adults will gain information and skills to develop and maintain open communication with children, identify and respond to normal as well as concerning sexual behaviors in children, answer children's questions, and give children positive messages. Nurturing healthy sexual development plays an important role in protecting children from sexual abuse and/or developing sexually abusive behaviors. Participants will: a) summarize healthy sexual development in children at different developmental stages; b) give examples of how to nurture healthy sexual development in children. This training is useful for infant through after-school teachers, educators, social workers, volunteers for children, mentors, coaches, professionals in many fields, parents, caregivers, grandparents, and foster parents.

Train adults to identify risk factors and protective factors associated with harmful sexual behaviors in adolescents.
Prepare adults to respond to prevent harmful sexual behaviors in adolescents and to be proactive when these behaviors are observed.
Train adults to be ready to intervene with adolescents to prevent reinforcement of repeated harmful behaviors.
