Better Toilet-Teaching: A Parent-Caregiver Workshop

Better Toilet-Teaching: A Parent-Caregiver Workshop

The workshop, provided by the Vermont Continence Project, will take place on Thursday, November 16th, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM via Zoom. We encourage child care programs to share this with the families they serve.

Workshop Description:
Teaching toileting to your child can be stressful and uncertain. If you are preparing to introduce your child to the potty, or have hit bumps in the road, this workshop may help. Workshop includes a 60-minute lecture, as well as 30-minute Q&A. If you cannot attend at this time, a recording will be provided to everyone who registers.

Important: The workshop is primarily for parents and those acting as caregivers in the home (foster parents, additional adults in the house), but the content is also relevant to professionals, including child care providers. Please know this workshop, however, does not count toward meeting professional development requirements in child care licensing regulations.
